The Production Process of TPU Film

TPU film, made from TPU "Thermoplastic Polyurethane Elastomer", produced by blowing process and casting process.

TPU film processed by blowing,  the TPU raw material is melted and plasticized by the extruder, enters the die from the die head, is inflated by compressed air, pulled, then rolling and slit.

TPU film processed by casting,  the TPU raw material is melted and plasticized by the extruder, extruded from the die through a slit die, poured onto the cooling roller, rapid cooling, and then stretched, rolling and slit.

The performance comparison of TPU film between blowing process and the casting process is as follows:

The thickness range of TPU blowing film, is from 8 micron to 150 micron.

The thickness rang of TPU casting film, is from 50 micron to 2000 micron.

The thickness control:

The thickness control of TPU blowing film is with good uniformity.

The mechanical properties:
