Different plastic material, different standards of flame retardant performance testing. UL94 rating is the most widely flammability performance standard for plastic materials. UL94 is used to evaluate the ability of a plastic material to extinguish after being ignited.

UL94 rating has total  12 flame retardant grade of plastic product material, include HB, V-0, V-1, V-2, 5VA, 5VB, VTM-0, VTM-1, VTM-2, HBF, HF1, HF2.

VTM-0, VTM-1, and VTM-2 are suitable for FR plastic film.

HBF, HF1, HF2 are suitable for FR plastic foam materials.
