EVA Adhesive Film in Solar Battery Application

EVA adhesive film is an ideal packaging material for solar battery. The solar battery structure consists of five layers from top to bottom are toughened glass + EVA adhesive film + crystalline silicon solar cell + EVA film + TPT/TPE backplane.

EVA adhesive film main raw material is EVA resin, which is non-sticky at room temperature, is convenient for cutting and slitting operations. The EVA adhesive film will be melt-bonded and cross-linked and cured after being hot-pressed, and become completely transparent . The cured EVA adhesive film has quite high light transmittance, adhesive strength, thermal stability, air tightness and aging resistance.

The cured EVA encapsulates the crystalline silicon cell group, and combines with the upper tempered glass and the lower TPT polyvinyl fluoride composite film, which is bonded together by vacuum lamination technology. In addition, EVA adhesive improves the light transmittance of glass, play the role of anti-reflection, and takes a gain effect on the output of solar battery.
